Organization Profile
The China International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFA) is a national industry organization in China's international freight forwarding industry. It was established on September 6, 2000 in Beijing, and its business guidance department is the Ministry of Commerce. Established on September 6, 2000 in Beijing and registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs on November 1 of the same year. Membership scale: There are nearly 800 members currently, including 128 directors and above units, 22 freight forwarding industry organizations in various provinces and cities, and more than 6000 international freight forwarding enterprises in China. Nature of Association: A national, non-profit social organization voluntarily formed by international freight forwarding and logistics enterprises, provincial and municipal industry associations, and related units.
Main Business
Main responsibilities of the association：The core work of the association is to play a bridging role between the government and enterprises, including:《1》.Industry management: Assist government departments in strengthening the management of the international freight forwarding and logistics industry, participate in the revision of freight forwarding regulations by the Ministry of Commerce, and undertake the business registration of international freight forwarding enterprises.《2》.Standard setting: Develop and implement industry national standards, operating procedures, and service quality requirements.《3》.Training certification: Organize qualification training and examination for freight forwarding practitioners, establish FIATA Freight Forwarding Qualification Certificate China Examination Center, and carry out Sino German dangerous goods shipping training, etc.《4》.International Exchange: As an association level member of the Federation of International Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA), representing the Chinese industry in international affairs, we have held 21 consecutive exhibitions and fairs for domestic and foreign freight forwarding and logistics enterprises.《5》.Industry services: Regularly publish the list of key contact enterprises and credit evaluation results in the industry, and conduct the ranking of the top 100 freight forwarding and logistics enterprises.
